Ticket Approval
Use the approval link when a ticket has reached your approval step. The page shows the ticket content, its approval timeline, and only the actions available for your current permission and stage.
Before you decide
- Confirm the notification source, ticket building, applicant, application type, and time-zone hint.
- Read every ticket tab and its attachments. Fields that are conditional may appear only when the ticket data meets their condition.
- Some ticket values are read-only in this page. Review them as submitted; do not expect to edit a read-only field.
Review the approval timeline
The Approval history timeline shows each approver and the progress of the route. It identifies the current approver, people still pending, and completed outcomes such as initiated, approved, rejected, or abandoned. An entry can also show the approver's note and the time it was recorded.
Use the timeline to confirm whether the ticket is waiting for you before taking action.
Record your decision
- Check the ticket status and approval timeline.
- Review all visible tabs, fields, and attachments.
- Choose an action offered on the page, such as Agree, Disagree, Return to applicant, or Terminate. Available actions depend on the current approval stage and your permission.
- Complete any required fields that appear for that action.
- Enter a suggestion when the selected action requires it. A suggestion can contain up to 30 characters.
- Submit and wait for the page to show the updated result. Do not submit the same decision again.
What the status means
- Need your approval: the route is waiting for your decision.
- You already signed: you have completed your step and cannot submit it again.
- You are not the approver: you can review the ticket but cannot submit a decision.
- Completed approval or Completed: the route has ended.
- Returned, Cancelled, or Terminated: the ticket has left its current approval path.
Next step
If the ticket needs correction, use the action available to return it or contact the applicant. If the link is expired or the ticket cannot be found, ask the original sender to confirm the approval route; do not use another person's link.
