Purpose
“Registered Units” lists all tenant units that have joined this building. Once a unit is registered, it can apply for building access, view contractor and personnel lists, and receive announcements you publish.
BMs can also invite a new tenant to register from this page. This path skips the join-building application: after the invitee completes registration, the unit joins the building directly.
Before you start
- You are signed in to BM and are an admin for the building.
- Your email has been verified.
- You know the unit name, user name, and email to invite.
Steps
Invite a registered unit
- Open “Building > Registered Units”.
- Click “Invite” in the lower-right corner.
- Enter “Name”, “User Name”, and “Email”.
- Send the invitation.
- Ask the invitee to open the invitation link and complete registration.
Remove a registered unit
To remove a unit, click “More > Delete” in the list. The system asks for confirmation; deletion cannot be undone.
Result
- After the invitee completes registration, the unit directly joins this building.
- This path does not create a task, ticket, or approval flow.
- If the tenant should go through approval, ask the tenant to submit a join-building request from “My Buildings”.
FAQ
- “Invite” is not visible: confirm that you are a building admin and that your email is verified.
- The tenant did not receive the email: confirm the email address and ask the tenant to check spam.
- You want to keep join approval: do not use registered-unit invitation; ask the tenant to request joining from “My Buildings”.
